Why Learn Claude Code Stands Out

This project is different from alternatives because it focuses on developing harnesses for agents, rather than just providing pre-built agents. The technical approach taken by this repository emphasizes the importance of training models and building harnesses that give agents the tools and knowledge they need to function in specific domains. This approach has solved the problem of creating agents that can learn and adapt in complex environments, which is a key challenge in the field of AI. The README highlights the importance of understanding what an agent is and what it is not, and provides examples of how agents have been used in the past to achieve significant milestones.

Built With

Build a real-time strategy game agent — This repository provides a nano Claude code–like agent harness, allowing for the development of agents that can learn and adapt in real-time strategy games, Build a research agent that reads and writes academic papers — The agent harness provided in this repository enables the development of agents that can read, understand, and generate academic papers, Build a chatbot that can engage in human-like conversations — This repository's focus on developing harnesses for agents enables the creation of chatbots that can understand and respond to human input, Build a autonomous vehicle agent that can navigate through complex environments — The agent harness provided in this repository allows for the development of agents that can perceive, reason, and act in complex environments, Build a software development agent that can write and debug code — This repository's emphasis on agent development enables the creation of agents that can write, debug, and optimize code

Getting Started

  1. Install the required dependencies by running `npm install`
  2. Configure the agent harness by creating a new file called `config.json` and adding the necessary settings
  3. Train a model using the `train.py` script and the `--data` flag to specify the dataset
  4. Use the `harness.py` script to give the model an environment to operate in, and specify the `--tools` flag to provide the necessary tools
  5. Try running the `chatbot.py` script to verify that the agent can engage in human-like conversations
